How the planning works—and how Chris gets paid

It’s fair to wonder how a free trip plan works. Here’s what you’re getting, what happens next, and where the money comes from.

What’s free, and what do I pay for?

Your personalized trip plan, Chris’s review, and an introductory planning conversation have no planning fee. Hotels, tickets, meals, and paid extras are separate travel costs.

How does Chris make money?

If you choose to book an eligible trip through Chris, the travel supplier may pay him a commission. That’s how he can earn money from a booking while offering the trip plan without a planning fee. The supplier, booking eligibility, and included services will be explained before you decide to book.

What does Chris actually help with?

He helps you connect the decisions: a resort that works with your budget, park days that suit your children, meals worth planning around, and time to rest. When you’re ready, he can discuss booking options and explain what support is included.

Do I have to book through Chris?

No. You can use the free plan to think through your trip, ask a question, or decide you’re not ready. Requesting a plan doesn’t make a reservation or commit you to a purchase.

Who creates my itinerary?

AI helps with the first draft. Chris personally reviews the itinerary before emailing your private Google Sheets link. It’s a planning recommendation, not a live quote or a guarantee that a room, meal, or experience is available.

What Chris handles once you book

  • Dining booked the morning your window opens. Disney opens dining reservations 60 days before you arrive, at 6:00 a.m. Eastern. Chris is online then to book the character meals and restaurants you picked.
  • Your booking re-checked for new offers. After you book, Chris keeps an eye out for new Disney offers and applies any your reservation qualifies for.
  • One person, start to finish. The advisor who plans your trip is the one who books it and answers your questions along the way.

Already booked directly with Disney? If you booked in the last 30 days and haven’t paid in full, Disney may approve moving the reservation to a travel advisor. Ask Chris whether yours qualifies.
