What your park ticket covers
EPCOT admission gets you into the park and the festival environment. The dishes and drinks you order cost extra. Separately sold activities and dining packages also need their own budget.

A food festival is not an all-inclusive meal. Keep its spending separate from a prepaid dining plan until you have checked whether the particular items qualify for any entitlements.
Build a tasting list from this year's menu
Pick three must-try items per adult to start, then add alternatives. That is an editorial planning suggestion, not a recommended portion size. Sharing may let your group try more dishes, but count multiple portions when several people want a full serving.
Disney's 2026 announcement highlights street corn dumplings at Gyozas of the Galaxy, bush berry shrimp at Australia, and a Kirsch cake at The Alps. These are examples to look up in the current menus, not firsthand taste rankings or a promise that an item will be available all day.
Group choices by location. A list that repeatedly sends you from one side of World Showcase to the other makes the afternoon feel longer. Mark the dishes you would happily substitute if a line is too long or an item is unavailable.
For allergies and dietary needs, ask Disney and the food location about current preparation. A dish name, photo, or old menu does not establish ingredients or cross-contact precautions. Keep a regular restaurant option for anyone who does not want to graze.
A budget you can actually use
Start with the number of portions, then add drinks, any activity purchase, and a cushion. Here is an illustrative budget for two adults, using hypothetical prices:

A flexible day at EPCOT
Morning: Choose one main attraction and nearby follow-ups. If that priority is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, inspect its current access options before deciding how much morning time remains. Do not assume every marketplace opens with the park.
First food block: Visit a compact cluster of your chosen stops. Eat, find seating, and take a break rather than buying the next plate simply because the booth is nearby.
Afternoon: Decide whether the group wants more tasting, an indoor attraction, or a hotel return. Families can split briefly if one adult wants food stops while another takes children to a preferred activity. Agree on a specific meeting point.
Evening: Place a concert or nighttime entertainment around its published time. Add the remaining food stops only if everyone still wants them. The second half of the shortlist is optional.
This outline uses sequence instead of invented wait times. Replace it with your confirmed bookings and the operating hours for your date.
Concerts, cheese stops, and children
Eat to the Beat can be the anchor for the whole day if the performer matters to you. Read the schedule before choosing a date, and allow for the ordinary seating queue. A dining package has different terms and costs; it is not automatically necessary for every visitor.
Emile's Fromage Montage provides a cheese-focused way to organize selected purchases. Check the current eligible items, stamp requirements, and redemption details in the festival passport. Buying food solely to finish a promotion can cost more than choosing what you wanted in the first place.

Festival questions
Can I visit Food & Wine and Festival of the Holidays on the same date?
Their announced 2026 dates do not overlap. Food & Wine ends November 21; Festival of the Holidays begins November 27. Use the Christmas guide if that is your travel period.
Is the festival only for adults who drink alcohol?
No. Food, entertainment, attractions, and family activities can make the day worthwhile without alcohol. Choose a plan around your own interests rather than a drinking challenge.
How do I fit it into a longer trip?
