A celebration day that leaves you time to get ready
Start with a late breakfast or a short park visit. Choose one attraction priority and a clear departure point. Return to the hotel with enough time to rest and change, then travel to dinner without another timed commitment in between.
If fireworks matter, consult the date's entertainment schedule before choosing a meal time. Confirm the restaurant's viewing arrangements directly. A request for a window table is not a booked feature, and a dinner at the right clock time doesn't guarantee fireworks will run.

Give different interests a fair share
If one person loves coasters and the other prefers food and shopping, alternate priorities rather than making one person wait all day. A deliberate split can be useful: agree on the reunion place and time, and make sure each person has something they want to do.
The adults-only outline can help combine EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and a resort day. You don't need to visit every park on a short trip. Returning to a favorite place may be more enjoyable than collecting all four entrances.
For a first visit, avoid making every morning early and every evening late. Protect at least one slow block after your celebration night. That time is part of what you bought when you chose a vacation together.
Compare room upgrades with actual use
Price the exact room category and entire stay. If a balcony or view is central to the trip, confirm it is included rather than merely requested. If you expect to spend most of the day out, transport and a comfortable bed may matter more.
For an illustrative five-night stay, a $120 nightly upgrade adds $600 before tax. Compare that with the dinner or other experience you would give up to afford it. This is a way to make the decision, not a current hotel rate.

No. Choose a place where you both like the food and pace. An unrushed meal that fits the budget can be more enjoyable than a formal experience one person doesn't want.
